NSA REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION
Failure of an entrant to meet ALL of these requirements will result in that entrant not being allowed to race.

1.  
The club or entrant MUST notify the Event Chairperson NO LATER THAN ONE WEEK (7) days PRIOR TO THE
     EVENT if you or a club member will be racing in this event.

2.  WOMEN 13 - 18 years of age in the calendar year. 

3.  Each participant must be a member of NSA club or sailing association that is in good standing with NSA.

4.  Each participant MUST bring to the regatta the following:
    (a)  a NSA Junior Race Entry Form  legibly completed.  If a club or sailing association is sponsoring an entrant
          and paying the entry fee, the entry form MUST be SIGNED BY A FLAG OFFICER OR ADULT
          RESPONSIBLE  FOR THE ENTRANT.
    (b)  a completed Medical Form attached to the Entry Form and submitted to the Event Chairman no later
          than the skippers' meeting
    (c)  a US Coast Guard approved life jacket with a whistle attached, which they MUST wear.

       Failure to comply with any or all of the above, may result in the entrant not being allowed to race.

5.  Attendance at the Skippers’ Meeting is mandatory.

6.  If the Leiter and Smythe events are held at the same time, women participants must declare which event they will
    be 
racing in at the time of the skippers’ meeting.

*USSA rules allow that Leiter Trophy participants may also race in either the Smythe, Sears, or Bemis event at the association level.

NSA is waiving entry fees for its 2009 Leiter championship.
