GENERAL INFORMATION:
- If you are racing in this event, you MUST notify the Event Chairman at least seven (7) days (by July 3rd ) prior to the event.
- To compete in this event, each participant MUST be a member of a NSA yacht club or sailing Association.
- Each participant MUST bring an NSA Junior Entry Form signed by a Flag Officer or Adult responsible for the participant AND a Medical Form. Both forms are to be completely and clearly filled out. Forms may be obtained from your NSA club or sailing association or from the Event Chairman prior to the event.
- 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM registration and rigging of boats.
- 9:00 AM Skippers’ Meeting
- Each sailor MUST wear a US Coast Guard Approved life jacket with a whistle attached
- Weather permitting, racing will be completed on Saturday, July 10, 2009
The Area A Smythe Championship will be held as an open event at the New Bedford reatta. Individuals participating need to check the box on the entry form designating wish to race for the championship.
